Do you want to install plugins on your Counter-Strike 2 server? Plugins can add extra features and improvements that can be customized to your needs. Follow this guide to install MetaMod and CounterStrikeSharp, which are necessary to install plugins.

1. Installing MetaMod

Before you can install plugins, you need to install MetaMod:

• Download MetaMod: Click here
• Extract the file and upload the addons folder to your server’s game/csgo/ directory.
• Open the file game/csgo/gameinfo.gi and add the following line under Game_LowViolence csgo_lv:

 Game csgo/addons/metamod 

Save the file and restart your server.

2. Installing CounterStrikeSharp

CounterStrikeSharp serves as a temporary replacement for SourceMod.

• Download CounterStrikeSharp: Click here
• Extract the file and upload the addons folder to game/csgo/ (the same location as MetaMod).
• Restart the server.

3. Installing Plugins

After installing MetaMod and CounterStrikeSharp, you can install plugins.

• Find plugins here: CounterStrikeSharp Discord
• Download the plugin and place it in game/csgo/addons/counterstrikesharp/plugins/
• Restart the server to activate the plugin.
