Contact usIn this guide, we will show you how to enable and manage the whitelist on your PineRiver Minecraft server via the Player Manager, so only selected players can gain access.
What is a Whitelist?
When you enable a whitelist, only players who have been added to the list can join the server. This is an effective way to keep your server private and secure.
Enable Whitelist via the GamePanel
- Log in to your PineRiver GamePanel.
- Navigate to the left sidebar under the GENERAL category and select Player Manager.
- In the Whitelist section, you will see a blue button labeled Enable.
- Click Enable. The button will change color to red and display Disable, confirming that the whitelist is now active.
Add Players to the Whitelist
You can easily add players directly in the Player Manager without using console commands:
- Ensure that the Whitelisted tab is selected in the overview.
- Click the large button at the bottom that says + Add to whitelist.
- A pop-up box will appear. Enter the player's Minecraft username in the "Player name" field.
- Click the blue Add to whitelist button to confirm.

Manage Existing Players
Once a player is added, they will appear on the list with their profile picture and UUID:
- Remove player: You can remove a player from the whitelist by clicking the arrow next to their name and selecting remove, or by deactivating their whitelist status in the overview.
- View status: Under "Server Overview" in the Player Manager, you can quickly see how many players are currently on your whitelist.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Live Update: The panel shows in the top right corner (LIVE) when the data was last synchronized with your server.
- Players cannot connect: If a player is not on the whitelist, they will be rejected with a message stating they are not on the list.
- No restart required: The panel typically synchronizes changes automatically with the server (see "Syncing" status at the top), so a full restart is rarely necessary for whitelist changes.
